The primary business of Utility Consulting International (UCI) is to provide consulting
services to utility companies for the study, design, procurement, implementation, and
integration of information systems, computer-based control systems, computer
network and telecommunication systems for supporting the various aspects of utility
operations.
In its consulting services, UCI takes into account the specific requirements and
conditions of the client utility, performs its studies based on comprehensive
questionnaires and interviews of with the clients experts and on detailed simulation
of the operations of the particular utility. Based on the information collected by the
above means, UCI recommends the best alternative solutions for client approval.
Experience obtained from other utility projects is used by UCI only in relevancy to the
current client utility. UCI’s commitments to the customers are measured by customer
satisfaction, expressed in continued engagement of UCI services by the same utility
and in referrals to other utilities.
UCI is a California Corporation. UCI’s corporate headquarters is located in San Jose,
California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. UCI is also doing business in Canada and
Asia through wholly owned subsidiary companies. UCI's primarily source of revenue
is from providing consulting services for the automation of power system functions
and the integration of automated systems. UCI is an independent company that
does not have any formal or informal commercial alliances or relationships with any
current or potential suppliers of systems.
